Deporting Love: A Married Couple’s Journey to Stay in the United States

On November 28, 2005, Enrique Gonzalez walked across the border to pursue a safe and prosperous life in the U.S. Afraid of gang recruitment in El Salvador and seeking to escape to a safe place with opportunities to work to help himself and his family, after two days of processing and detention, he was taken (by immigration officials) to a Texas bus station where he was left to find his way in what would become his new home, the United States of America. Presentations: Immigration Attorney Sarah Burrow Shares Her Up-Close Experiences With Children and Families at the Border

Immigration attorney Sarah Burrow recently returned from volunteering with border families seeking asylum. She saw the inhumane treatment of separated families up-close-and-personal. A clarion call for human-centered reform, Sarah's presentation brings to light the reality of the darkness that is immigration today.

A fellow volunteer remarked, "We wish you could see through our eyes, hear through our ears, and feel our saddened hearts beating within your own chest." Sarah continued, "But today, I offer this... my hope is that you trust our senses, for it is not only our knowing, but the truth spoken and cried out by many."

The real-life, up-close-and-personal-stories, of asylum-seeking families, is painful but is a must watch! See for yourself.

We MUST NOT STOP WATCHING AND LISTENING! WE MUST KEEP OUR EYE ON THIS ADMINISTRATION. Failure to stay alert will lead to normalization of this administrations' inhumane stance on immigration. Please watch. Please get involved. Please subscribe (top right corner) to DeportingLove.com.
