Deporting Love: A Married Couple’s Journey to Stay in the United States

On November 28, 2005, Enrique Gonzalez walked across the border to pursue a safe and prosperous life in the U.S. After two days of processing and detention, he was taken (by immigration officials) to a Texas bus station where he was left to find his way in what would become his new home, the United States of America. Thirteen years later, with an U.S. Immigration approved marriage to a citizen, Enrique is being deported.

In the January 2017 Executive Order, Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States, the Trump administration laid out a much wider dragnet authorizing and empowering ICE in the deportation of undocumented.  Unlike the discretion of the Obama Administration, as evidenced in the 2011 Memo, which exercised a great deal of flexibility the Trump Administration's laser sharp focus is on the numbers! This is what hate looks like in America today. I must preface, I do not know the specifics of this case. Given the countless other cases wherein people are torn from their loved ones, forcefully removed, incarcerated, moved from one (private profiting) prison to another and ultimately pushed out of society, I'm inclined to believe this is yet another innocent Hispanic recently criminalized by the Trump administration without just cause.

How is it that these people are authorized to forcefully take individuals without identifying themselves and providing verifiable proof that they are authorized to remove the person. Where is the proof, warrant, identification, and justification for such actions?

This is NOT making America Great! This is what white-collar ethnic cleansing looks like - plain and simple.

Please consider a donation to our GoFundMe campaign to enable us to continue our efforts to build a national legal team who will take on the U.S. Gov't. for aiding and abetting undocumented individuals to be in the U.S. for decades - encouraging and taking their income tax - only to later reclassify them all as "criminals" and forcefully deport them!

Please help us to launch our national campaign to sue the U.S.  Gov't for these heinous crimes against humanity.
